• Senior Pastor Paul Frank

I grew up in Iowa and had a career for many years in film and video production before the Lord began to guide me into the ministry. Along the journey God blessed me with my wife Kathy and our three awesome children – Sonjah (a vet tech here in AZ), Serenah (working on a degree in Christian Counseling in North Carolina and married to our son-in-law Ryan), and Tanner ( a combat medic in the Army, stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky). I have a B. A. in communications from Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa and a Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. I’m so blessed to be a part of this great team of missionaries at work for the Lord. We work at that mission of making disciples through our preschool, our youth and young family ministry, our older adult ministry, our many Bible study and small group opportunities, through our music and praise and worship life together, and in living out our Christian faith. Come visit and see.

I grew up in Bakersfield California, a place almost as hot and dry as Mesa. For college I attended Concordia University Irvine, where my wife Mikaela and I met. In the summer of 2014 I graduated from CUI with a B.A. in theology, married Mikaela, and we moved together to Saint Louis where she taught Kindergarten and I attended seminary for four years. In the spring of 2018 I received my M.Div. from Concordia Seminary in Saint Louis and received my call here to Hosanna as associate pastor. Mikaela chose not to teach and now is a stay-at-home mom to our first child Josiah. I am thrilled to be a part of the ministry at Hosanna, and pray that I may bless the church through my service to God.  My email is Nick@Hosanna-lcms.com.

Little Palms School: Preschool Staff

  • Cindy Koch, Preschool Director

Hello, I am Cindy Koch, Director of Little Palms Preschool. Originally from Minnesota, my family and I moved to Arizona in 2004. I worked as a Facilities Supervisor for a large insurance company until I retired in 2011. At that point I became free to pursue my interest in the care and development of young children and began volunteering at Arizona public schools. Today I continue to supplement my college education with early childhood development courses.

My husband and I have one son, who recently graduated from Northern Arizona University. Our granddaughter Savannah attended Hosanna Little Palms Preschool and Kindergarten. We became members of Hosanna in 2010. Thorough the mission of the school, Savannah was baptized in November 2010 and started taking Confirmation Classes in August 2016.

I am especially passionate about teaching young children about our Lord. I am so thankful the Lord has given me the opportunity to spread his word to the children and families of Hosanna Church and Little Palms School. I have been on Hosanna’s Board of Education since 2014. I am a Sunday School teacher for the second through fourth grades, and began my role as Preschool Director in the spring of 2016. My email: admin@littlepalmsschool.com

I I feel so honored to have the chance to be here at Little Palms Preschool! I cannot wait to be able to combine my passion for teaching with my love fore God! We will be covering many things this year from letters to science and everything in between, but most importantly we are going to learn of God's love for us and that each and every one of us are important and has something to share with the world!
