Worship Services

July 4, 2010 - August 29, 2010

Hosanna has one worship service at 9:00 a.m. The style is a blended service with traditional and contemporary music. In this service there is also a "Children's Message".

September 5, 2010 - October 31, 2010

Hosanna starts two worship services - 8:00 a.m. worship service is a Traditional Liturgical style worship service based on the Lutheran Worship Hymnal. The 9:30 a.m. worship service is a Contemporary Style service. See the link on the home page for our Church Calendar.

Adult Bible Study begins at 10:30 a.m. from July 11 - August 29, each Sunday morning after worship.

Kid's Church

During our summer months Kid’s Church has come to a close. Instead, with open arms and happy hearts we welcome, desire, and encourage children to be in worship each week with their family. Parents are encouraged to sit in the first few rows enabling your child(ren) to see and experience worship! Here are a few “helpful hints”;

• Count the candles together…Jesus is the Light of the World,
• watch, listen & sing as our praise team leader guides us through worship,
• count the crosses in the sanctuary…Jesus died on the cross in our place, He rose again and is preparing a place for us in heaven,
• Explain a bit of worship to your child, “sometimes we sit, sometimes, we stand, fold hands or hold my hand while we pray, use your listening ears – it is our turn to listen now,” etc.
• Remember, you are your child’s role model yet, so are each one of us!

We have Christ-centered activity bags to supplement your young child’s worship experience. These bags are located in the cabinet at the back of the church, pick one up on way in to worship. Please be sure to return them at the close of worship.

Thank you for bringing your children to Jesus through worshipping together. Children are not just the “church of the future” they are the church NOW…Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” Mark 10:14
