I grew up in Iowa and had a career for many years in film and video production before the Lord began to guide me into the ministry. Along the journey God blessed me with my wife Kathy and our three awesome children – Sonjah who is already off to college, and Serenah and Tanner who are growing up all too fast behind her. I have a B. A. in communications from Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa and a Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. I’ve been blessed to be a part of many congregations around the country and we sure are blessed to be here at Hosanna. I’m so blessed to be a part of this great team of missionaries at work for the Lord. We are engaged in the mission to make disciples (see Matthew 28:19-20). We work at that mission through our preschool, our youth ministry programs, our many Bible study and small group opportunities, through our music and praise and worship life together, and in living out our Christian faith. Beth has been working in the field of Early Childhood Education for thirty years. She is a graduate of Concordia University, Irvine with a B.A. in Early Childhood Education and a Lutheran Teaching Ministry Certificate. She has been married to her wonderful husband, John, for twenty-two years and they have three beautiful children, Michael, Jeffrey, and Olivia. Beth has been employed with Hosanna Lutheran Church and Little Palms Preschool since moving to AZ from CA in June 2002 and oversees its staff of four. It is her passion to share and celebrate the love of her best Friend and Savior, Jesus Christ, with young children and their families each and every day and to meet the unique developing needs of each child in a classroom filled with experimentation, exploration and discovery.
